Financial and Physical Fitness: Day Twelve

Orange Chicken

This is part of an ongoing going series about eating better by avoiding fast food during September and setting aside money under a forced savings plan.  Click here to read the introduction and click here to read other stories in the series.  Lisa and I will be sharing our experiences and what we learn during this experiment.

I’m late in posting this, so I’ll keep in short.

Savings:  $12 transferred to savings, as planned.

Breakfast:  I actually made eggs and bacon for breakfast, both from Costco.

Lunch:  I was rebelling against making my own lunches, so I had another Costco hot dog.

Dinner:  There was some orange chicken in the freezer, so I made that with some broccoli.  I probably ate too much, but it was good.  I thought about having some rice, but I didn’t really need it.

Exercise:  It was a day off.
